Wildlife rehabilitation requires specific knowledge, food, and equipment to give animals the best chance at survival.
Without proper care, an animal’s condition can worsen, leading to unnecessary suffering, long-term health problems, or even death.
While it’s natural to want to help, well-meaning efforts can sometimes do more harm than good, especially if the right steps aren’t taken initially after rescue.
Inexperienced care, even with the best intentions, can delay the animal from getting the expert treatment it needs.
The best way to help is by contacting trained, equipped carers, as soon as possible, to ensure the animal has the highest chance of survival.
Age determination
Automated Husbandry Plan Creation
Enter species, basic measurements and WildPro will automatically generate a husbandry plan tailored to the species using Wombaroo formulas and products.

Sign Up and Log In
Start by creating an account, your WildPro profile will store your data securely and allow you to access your care plans from any device.
Please note: WildPro requires an Australian State (mandatory field) to be entered to enable filtering and finding other carers within your region or wildlife organisations. Your information is not shared with the organisations listed and no authentication of your member number is completed. However, this information makes your app experience easier and enables reporting if you do need to share plans for governance purposes. For users located outside Australia, please use the ‘Non Australian’ State option and reach out to discuss adding any wildlife organisations outside of Australia.
Age Determination
Accurate age determination means that the correct care can be given for the stage of development, providing the best chance of survival. This is the most crucial step that a carer does in the app. To guide this step WildPro asks you to enter the relevant measurements for the species selected.
Once entered, the app will open up a view which shows the animals measurements against the growth chart and allows the carer to refine and lock in age.
Create Care Plan
WildPro automatically creates a care plan based on species-specific milestones, including physical, feeding and equipment needs.
Track Actual Growth
Tracking actual growth is as easy as entering weight, whenever it suits you, WildPro will time stamp and track this against the growth plan.
Planned v Actual Insights
Using an average healthy animals growth to provide a planned view, and the carer providing actual growth the app provides insights on how the animal is tracking while in care.
Notifications
Based on the care plan dates, WildPro will remind carers to change feeding, housing needs and confirm the animal is meeting the development key milestones such as First Emergence, Commencing Weaning, up to Release.
Seamless Data Transfer Between Carers
WildPro enables caregivers to seamlessly transfer care plans, ensuring continuity of care when animals are moved between caregivers. Additionally, during temporary care or babysitting periods, caregivers can easily share and access care plans with each other.
Export Reports
Generate and download care plans to share with your wildlife organisation, requlators or to update another reporting system.
