Hi! I’m Wendy Mitchell, the proud creator of WildPro, a wildlife care app that’s as unique and resilient as the animals it’s built to protect.
Growing up in Australia, I’ve always been captivated by our wild locals. Creatures that hop, swim, crawl, and dig through some of the world’s most diverse landscapes.
However caring for our native wildlife isn’t easy, and after becoming a wildlife carer I knew there had to be a way to make it simpler.
With a background in IT and a knack for problem-solving, I set out to create WildPro, a tool that takes the guesswork and admin out of wildlife care.
From baby wombats needing 2 hourly feeds to possums preparing for release; WildPro is designed to give carers everything they need to provide top-notch care.
Just like our native species, WildPro is resourceful, resilient, and ready to go the distance!
I believe that every rescued animal deserves a fighting chance—and that those who care for them – deserve support that’s easy, reliable, and as full of life as the animals we’re all here to protect.

No, it will provide a proposed age or age range, using measurements and weight, some species have lead measurements, a proposed age range is shown, the user needs to apply their own judgement to refine the individual animals age and lock in the specific age.
No, each individual is different, WildPro provides a plan, based on an average healthy animal, however wildlife comes in all sizes and conditions so your animal will not follow it exactly as prescribed.
Yes and No. The current feeding volumes and milk formulas, milk transition milestones all specifically relate to Wombaroo products so you can not substitute this with Biolac.
You can use the app to create a care plan, age determination, notes, actuals tracking to manage your care, noting you need to follow different feeding instructions not contained in WildPro.
Yes, at present the tool is free, we ask only for you to provide feedback to make it more useful. We may need to move to another paid version if high usage (data costs) is expected.
